AS I WATCH leaves fall like rain,
My thoughts spun with your coming
into being in this stolid world.
Now I understand why leaves fall.
As if every leaf caught in the wind
are individual thoughts of you.
How they travel and came to be that golden flake
Only to fall helplessly and willingly.
Ah, my dear, my beloved, my far-off dream,
You are my gravity, you are the center
of everything that exists around me.
And still you are that unseen force that binds all.
Unseen, yet I feel you around me - still unseen
This over-bearing weight that grips my heart
and pulls my soul to your direction.
And I fall helplessly and willingly...
... Like Leaves...
